Rundfunk Orchestra

Photo shoot for Advertising

Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin (RSB) is a 102-year institution. Never once advertising for fear of ‘cheapening’ the orchestra and all it represents.

Together with Molina Visuals, I lead a cross-discplinary global team in developing a series of photographs to be used in ads across Berlin while maintaining artistic integrity.

The concept celebrated the relationship between performer and listener, using double exposure visual treatments in creating a poetic language of connection, passion and enjoyment.

We had a project that needed a great Creative Director for a sensitive project and when we met Jenny and Puree Fantastico, it was clear that they were the one! Jenny’s passion, creativity and poetry translates to everything she does. She’s super responsive and professional. She always goes the extra mile, a crucial aspect if you are looking to innovate.

It was very important to center the relationship between performer & audience member.

A wide range of ages and demographics were selected to represent the wide range of people who enjoy the Berlin institution.

I led a team in Berlin through sourcing actors, representing the poses, and curating the costuming/styling. I worked with the photographer and editor in blending and in the visual juxtapositions.
