Dr. Refund is a Sarasota-based tax-services practice that sought a brand identity refresh to communicate both professionalism and approachability.
The goal: show clients that even something as technical as tax help can be friendly, personal, and maybe even a little fun.
Working alongside the internal team, we developed a visual and verbal brand system that leans into playfulness while preserving credibility. Colors, typography, and tone were chosen to strike that balance: professional enough to be trusted, accessible enough to feel welcoming.
The copywriting reflected that same voice—warm, confident, and lightly humorous—reinforcing the message that tax services don’t need to feel intimidating.
The result is a brand that positions Dr. Refund as the expert who also makes tax time less stressful. A blend of years of expertise and a “we’ve-got-you” attitude, the new identity invites clients in, rather than pushing them away.
